Hosted by Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the 2019 Guang Zhou Global Detection Technology Forum is held at Baiyun International Convention Center with over 500 professionals throughout the nation participating in the event.
As the director of Chinese Geophysical Society and Geological Society of Guangdong Province, Earth Product China Limited was invited to the two-day-long Guangzhou Global Detection Technology Forum. The focus of the forum revolves around national energy resources security and constructions in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as well as the technological advancements in underground and deep sea detection technologies.
On one of the sub-forums, Tiger Lin of Earth Product China Limited Geophysics Department presented his detailed report regarding deep-focus earthquake detection and micro seismic monitoring. Using real-life engineering examples, Tiger Lin vividly presented the seismic detection techniques developed by Robertson Geo of UK, iSeis&Seismic Source of US and OYO of Japan, and hosted a productive discussions with professionals regarding related issues.
At last, The forum ends with a tour around the Nangang station of Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey, which showcases China’s most influential technologies for deep sea operations.
