On June 19, 2018, sponsored by the China Association of Science and Technology, Ministry of Transport and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Association of Highway hosted the 2018 World Transport Conference (WTC) in Beijing, and the opening ceremony was carried out in the national conference center. First secretary of the leading party of China Association for Science and Technology, vice chairman, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences —Mr. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Transport—Mr. Li Xiaopeng, Party member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, vice chairman of China Association of Science and Technology, member of Chinese Academy of Engineering—Mr. He huawu attended the meeting and delivered speeches. More than 30 countries and 10 international organizations, about 6000 experts and scholars in the field of transport guests from Chinese, American, UK, Japanese and so on attended the meeting, to discuss the world forefront topics in the field of transportation and related technology applications and have launched a magnificent conference.
